Step 1 – Position stand lengthways
Position the stand lengthways with the top end in your hands. |

Step 2 – Grasp legs
Take hold of the opposite legs of the stand. |

Step 3 – Pull legs out
Pull the opposite legs away from one another to open the stand. |

Step 4 – Lock legs
Push the legs until they lock, so the steel tubes cross at 45 degrees. |

Once the mortar stand has locked in place you can position the top board and begin work. |
