When placing the blade the cutting edge needs to slightly protrude through the mouth of the scraper body, just enough to catch the surface you will be scraping.
Loosen the retaining and clamping screws.
Drop the blade between the clamping bar and the the body of the scraper, with the cutting edge facing towards the clamping screws.
This type of blade has only one cutting edge (burr) and not one on each side like other scrapers.
Step 3 – Tighten clamping and adjustment screws
Tighten the clamping screws slightly by turning them clockwise using your fingers.
Turn the retaining screw clockwise to tighten and secure the blade in place.
Step 4 – Level blade
Use the end of your finger or nail to push the blade downwards to make sure the blade is level.
Tighten the clamping screws using a flat head screwdriver.
