The two handles are low and set back to give the user control and comfort when using this type of cabinet scraper.
The low handles are close to the surface you will be scraping, providing the user with more control.
Scraper retaining screw
The retaining screw is used to secure the blade in position when it is cutting.
When the screw is loosened along with the clamping screws the blade can be removed or replaced.
Scraper clamping screws
The clamping screws are attached to the clamping bar.
The screws are used to push the clamping bar against the blade to secure it in place.
Scraper clamping bar
The clamping bar is tightened against the blade using the clamping screws. The clamping bar lies across the blade and keeps it in place.
Scraper blade
The blade is placed between the body and the clamping bar, which allows it to be slotted through an opening located on the bottom of the cabinet scraper.
The blade can be replaced with a new blade of the same width.
Scraper body
The body is the main structure of the cabinet scraper from which the handles project and to which the blade is clamped. It is commonly made from cast iron.
